bold 9900 - solid green light

i just got my 9900, and a while ago it started prompting me that the device is scheduled to restart (at a past date). it does that every 3 seconds.

 

i did a battery pull and now it auto shuts down after it boots up, showing the same screen of " device shutting down, press any key to abort". but pressing anything doesnt stop it from shuttng down. the solid green light then stays on the indicator.

 

i didnt do a recent back up and is really hoping my device can be saved!

Leave the device to charge for an hour, and then, still connected to the charging cable AND powered ON, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).

 

Let me know what happens after that.

i tired leaving the charger pluged in and removing the batt did not work the batt is fully charged and i did a reinstall os still same issue

You reinstalled the OS, when? After or before this starting occuring?

i did the reinstall after this prob started and it comes on but not for long

the phone worked very smooth before all of a sudden this green light showed up i did what the trend said to before i did the reinstall it wont stay on at all now it stays on for about 5 mins then shuts down and the batt is at 100%

Try wiping your phone!Options-Device-Security-Wipe!

I did a wipe using bbht then the reinstall already but I've noticed that when I leave it in the holster it don't shut down but when out for 10 mins or so it shuts off
