bold 9900 won't turn on

my bold 9900 was working fine earlier, then turned off and won't come on again. it had been crashing a bit previously and i have been unable to backup in sometime because it starts, then says there i an error but being a biz phone i couldn't send it away.

so i have tried 2 power outlets, 2 batteries. having the battery out for a few hours and still nothing.

i am getting a new one tomorrow but i need to backup from the phone itself if its possible? i keep seeing things saying plug the phonne in to laptop minus the battery but NOTHING happens with or without battery.

any ideas?

Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the device, making backups wirelessly?


Also, You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.
