apologies for raising this question again, but none of the other posts have proper solutions and they are fairly old.
this issue is just about driving me nuts.
at first I though the email issue was due to my computer being set to remove messages from the server, I have confirmed that this is not the case.
I discovered today all my call logs for 30days and more are gone. This is intensly frustrating.
I have done all the usual things like checking messages set to save "Forever"
I have also followed this: KB14213 and confirmed that my free memory is 95%. (I also have 34% on my memory card)
I have 60.7mb free application space
Can someone please help?

I would suggest doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320. Please test before restoring any data to the device.
If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)
