camera focus

ive just recived my new blackberry torch, my first blackberry phone and looks good, one problem that i cant sort out ive looked on the web, tryed removing the battrey ect, but no joy,
the problem is the camera will not focus, it will  focus on anything very close but nothing more than 1 ft away, ive also tryed to adjust from auto to landscape ect but no good,

Look on your Torch > open the camera > Press the Menu key > Options > AutoFocus > and make sure that is set to Normal, not Close Up.

ive tryed that,

even turned the macro on and back off to make sure but no joy

Ah, see, I don't know what you've done. Smiley Wink

 

Do you know that when taking a picture, if you press the side convenience key down only about halfway, it focuses first? Once focused... press fully to snap the picture.

yeh im doing that, the phone is 5 days old, thinking back the camera did work the first time i used it (only breafly) is there any way to reset everything to factory spec, i think the phone updated somthing in the first day maybe that had somthing to do with it?
