i don't much like any of the vailable alarm tones on my bb; can i add one of my own-say a bit of bach or lose some of the really idiotic tones?
i'd be jolly grateful if anyone can help

Yes you can add any available tone that is stored on your device or media card as your alarm. There should be, at the top of the alarm list, a browse or select tone option.

ditto above post. I have set to my alarm to a saved ringtone I had.... its actually the "chickendance" and it is annoying ! But it gets me up! ha ha!

i've got tons of music on my media card but nothing of it shows under tone only the tones that came with the machine.
please feel free to say, my god pete you are so stupid; iknow i am i'm old and my brain is damaged. also there is nothing in thestructions about it.

According to your device model and operating system, it will be set one of a couple different ways.
Open your Alarm and press Menu > and you should see a "settings" or set Alarm Tune.
Or, open the Clock application > Menu key > Options > Alarm > Alarm Tune. Set it to your desired tune.
Your Music files probably will not appear as available alarms, because your music is saved to your Music Folder, not your Ringtones Folder.

thank you, it's a curve 8320 as i recall.
i've gone to theclock icon, iif ithen hit menu it says
move, hide, add folder, switch application.
if i go to where it saysalarm,then menue it says change optionand i'm back to weekdays only, on/off, etc
am i doomed?
