Hi and welcome to the forums,
You have 64 mb of total memory on your device. You sent that you have 0bytes free.
15 mb free would be considered a minimum.
Most people close the applications by pressing the escape or red key. This does not close the applications.
Each application has a close option. For instance if you are in the calendar hit the menu key (spotted key) and scroll down to the bottom close is listed.
When done using the browser, press menu and options, select cache operations,
clear all categories and hit escape it will clean the browser cache.
Enable the memory clean option on the BB. Go to options, security, memory cleaning, enable it.
The BB will now clean memory when idle for 5 minutes.
Use the attached links to manage your memory efficiently.

hi, new to this.. have a blackberry bold 9000, it has started deleting new and most recent messages randomly. I have checked the memory and even deleted lots of stuff on phone but still randomly does it. I was told to routinely turn phone off, take battery out etc but few days later does it again. I was then told to download updates on the blackberry site, but only get about half way through and i get a message saying cannot complete. Help please???
