can't send/receive emails OR get onto email set up

Until a few days ago my emails where working perfectly fine, now i can't send or receive anything. I've read through all the posts i can find on this & the majority of them always have a step including go onto set up for emails, but i can't access that either & i just get a little timer for a while & eventually a message saying 'your device had a problem connecting to the server'. I've checked all my internet & wifi connections & they are fine..... HELP! Please Smiley Happy

Apart from email services are you able to use other BlackBerry Services like BBM ?

 

If you're then try those steps in the same sequence and see if it helps :

 

1- Register your Handheld .

  • KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.

2- Delete and Resend your Service Book

  • KB05000 : Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • ( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back

 

Please note if you don't recieve those registration messages then you need to call or Contact your Carrier for further help .

 when I go to 'send service books for a blackberry internet service account'  it comes up with 'We are temporarily having difficulty accessing your email account.

You may access another email account or try again at a later time' what does this mean!? Smiley Sad

As I asked currently are you able to use BBM without any issue ?

Now .. Reboot your device then try again , if same same error message appear then you need to call your Carrier EE to know if there were having any issue on there network or the problem is within your account .

So reboot your device , then try once again ( Over your Mobile Network but not Wifi ) , if error reoccurs then you have to give a call to your Carrier EE .

Yes , you have to call your Carrier to resolve this issue , So , call them and keep us updated with your progress.
