HAve had this BB for several years. Have a Macbook Pro. can't sync using desktop manager. just never connects and after 10 or 15 min. says try again.
Used to work.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having synchronizing. Can you please verify that your BlackBerry smartphone is able to connect fully with the BlackBerry Desktop Software and able to perform a backup?
If it is unable to do this, can you please let me know if trying different usb ports or usb cables makes any difference? Can you also tell me if your Mac is able to detect the BlackBerry smartphone?
