Here's an email I had received on Sunday. I think they may have just released a new driver update that may help:
Thank you for contacting BlackBerry Customer Support.
A new PocketMac 4.1.25 Driver Update was posted on www.discoverblackberry.com/mac. The Driver Update is named "DriverUpdate.3.1.3B.dmg", and corrects all currently ongoing connectivity issues.
Before you apply the updated driver, I would like you to follow the Knowledge Base article provided below to clean uninstall the PocketMac 4.1.25. After the reboot, when the PocketMac 4.1.25 is re-installed, then go ahead to apply the Update.

Wow...that is quite involved. I'm just going to uninstall PocketMac and try Missing Sync....that's an awful lot of work to do to try to get a "free" program to work. A program that is supposed to make the sync process with a Mac possible. You'd think that if they were making a program for the BB Storm to use with a Mac that it would work without having to go through all of that.

I have used the above steps and am able to sync everything, but when I try to play my songs synced off of itunes it gives me an error message on my phone that reads, "The media being played is of an unsupported format."
I just want to make sure that it is possible to play itunes songs on my Storm before wasting any more time on it. It should be able to play them, right? Thanks.

This is one of the most frustrating things I've dealt with in some time. I'm on my "second" BlackBerry Storm 9500. I have installed, uninstalled, and updated PocketMac to no avail. I've followed the instructions and done this FIVE different times.
This is so time consuming its ridiculous. BlackBerry/Verizon how about putting some more R&D into this? I wonder how many MAC users are experincing this? I wonder how many Mac users own a BlackBerry (Storm)?.. Is this working for ANYONE?! I continue to get a #1 Skipping message, I've also gotten a #8 error..
I'm just about to give up and CANCEL my Verizon account. I've my own business and it is a necessity that I sync my contacts and calendar, I'm not even worried about photos and music at this point. I can't understand why I need to spend more money purchasing Mark/Space (which by the way SUCKS! That's another company in need of re-thinking/going back to the drawing board with their developments) or any other application to sync. I just spent all this money on this phone, it should be easier than this. BlackBerry is alienating a decent number of business professionals.

So funny! I'm on the phone with Verizon (customer support) and they are trying to up-sell me on a remote modem feature for an additonal $15 a month?! How about helping me resolve this issue first?
All I want is for you (V/BB) is to fix this for me! I simply do not understand. We are totally at the mercy of all of this providers... Unbelievable.
