Sorry for my poor english, i'll try to be understandable
I use a 9700 bold since many years and I am happy with it, it is a good tool, I keep it legally from my former job.
My BB fall down (once more but the good one!)and did not receive any network.All other functions were correct. I replaced the sim card by another to be sure.
I guess the antenna was broken
With small video on YouTube or something like that, I disassembled the unit and reassembled it with new parts.
At this step, I was proud...not for a long time
When I restart my BB, I got a vertical battery with red line on a white screen
I search a lot on Google and try a lot of issue, no results
What I tried:
Connect to power without battery
Update BB desktop software and BB device manager
Wipe the BB with JL Cder
Try it on an another PC
Every time, the BB is recognized by Windows and BB Desktop sofware but the process (after "update" and "repair") stop at "reconnection to JVM".
I got now a black screen with horizontal battery and red cross!
Some expert help please !
What can I do to have my reliable BB back?

I checked with 3 different batteries I had, same thing for each one.
Before the crash they were ok.
Is there something like hard reboot of low level or primary level for BB ?
The withe or black screen with battery appears at the beginning of withe progress bar under BlackBerry logo.
