curve 9220 - dialing numbers outside the phone list

hi mates!

in a curve 9220 how can i dial numbers to make a call directly?? i mean, if i want to dial a number outside the phonelist of contacts, i press the keyboard and nothing happens... i found out that i have to press the dial key (the top left one)... i mean, in other model, you just press the numbers and go but in this 9220 will i always have to press the dial key firts?

cheers

Hi mutante

That feature is available on your device model , From your Homescreen Press the Menu key > Click Options > Under heading Launch by Typing be sure it is set to Universal Search rather then Application Shortcuts. Then again from your Homescren Go to Options > Device > Search > Scroll down and under heading Data Sources be sure Contacts are Marked or Checked .
