curve 9300 trackpad

i downloaded an update and after my phone rebooted my trackpad wont work at all!!

please help?

Since this issue started after an update, it may be caused by an issue with the installation. To resolve this, can you please try to first back up all your data and then perform a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software? For further steps, please see the following KB articles.

For Mac: "Perform a clean reload of BlackBerry smartphone application software using BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer" http://bbry.lv/J0UN1U


Please test to make sure the issue with your Trackpad has been fixed before you restore any data from your backup file.
