curve drenched and doesn't work - what can i do with it now?

i went swimming with my curve in my pocket, and needless to say, it's now dead.  what can i do with it? send it somewhere for refurb? and no i didn't have insurance, so please don't rub it in!

Lol. i wont rub it in cause iv ruined a couple phones the same way.. i havent done it with my 8310 yet though, but some of my other phones seemed to work after i took out the battery and opened up the phone to completely dry out.. but the curve being basicly a small computer i dont know that it will work with it..it cant hurt to try it though seeing how u didnt have ins. on it.......Good Luck

11 times out of 10, water damaged is not covered under warranty.

 

I'm very sorry for your loss.

 

Hope you manage to get the moisture out, you can pull teh device apart and shave off the rust and corrosion you see buy purchasing a mobile repair kit, however rust spreads in a matter of months..

Probably too late now, but try using a hair dryer on it instead of letting it air dry.

had the same issue.  people do buy it online because they fix them-however fixing it will cost alot.  i sold mine on ebay and got 160 for it and put it towards a new phone.
