deleted pin

Can anyone tell me how or if I can retrieve a friend's pin. He deleted it from his blackberry, but I desperately need to get back in touch with him. He sent a photo. Could I retrieve anything from that? Thanks in anticipation of your help!

Re: deleted pin

He can't delete his PIN from his BlackBerry, it is hardcoded to the device.

If he sent you a photo, did he send it via Messenger? Do you still have him as a contact in Messenger?

If so, look at that contact in Messenger  and you may see the PIN there.

Re: deleted pin

I think your "friend" might be trying to avoid you. The PIN is part of the firmware on the device, meaning it cannot be removed. If you know him in person, confront him about this. If you have access to his BlackBerry (or if he honestly thinks he deleted his PIN, and can't find it *facepalm*), then it can be found in several places. Probably the easiest one (on the Bold, anyway) is by navigating to the homescreen and, while holding down the alt button, pressing 'E' + 'S' + 'C' + 'R' in succession. It can also be found under Options -->About.

Hope that helps,
