desktop manager

I tried new Z10 but desktop manager would not load to my computer running windows 7. I have gone back to torch 9800 but when I have loaded desktop manager and tried to run it windows says Desktop manager software has stopped working. I have rteloaded about 6 times rebooted computer etc etc. next move reboot blackberry into back garden. Any ideas?

Hi there,

The BlackBerry Z10 does not work with the older BlackBerry Desktop Software. To connect the Z10 to your computer, you need to use BlackBerry Link, which can be found here:


Now that this has happened though, to get your old version of the BlackBerry Desktop Software to work, you will need to do a clean uninstall. Try following the instructions posted in the following KB article:


Once you've uninstalled the Desktop Software, reboot your computer and then redownload and reinstall the BlackBerry Desktop Software from http://blackberry.com/desktop.

I have tried your resolve solutions unfortunately without sucess, could be me who is a bit of a dumbo!!!. Thanks for your efforts but it looks like BB will bite the dust after 10 years and windows phone will take over. Over and out!!!
