I am also having the same problem. After installing v.7 on my PC, when I fired up the desktop software, a dialogue box would pop out, saying "BlackBerry Desktop Software has stopped working" , and ask me to close the program (which i was not able to open in the first place!).

All this problems with blackberry... makes me very angry!
i can't sync and its running for hours!!!!
pls RIM, close the company or make a good job. but that's one more big annoyance

I have the same problem - I thought RIM were concerned about market share vs Apple - clearly not!
I'll give them until the weekend to sort this - I've already wasted half a day trying to solve what I thought was my problem - and the de-install of the desktop program isn't very clean (Windows 7). Hurry up RIM or my next phone will NOT be a BB.

Now I'm back to 6 but another problem appear: at the end of sync, I get an error message: 0x80040fb3?
Does anyone is facing it? what can I do?

610_b034_multilanguage is not the latest version of DT 6.10
I do have the latest 6.10 version (610_b038_multilanguage.exe) which I'm happy to upload whereever I can. Obviously, it's too large for attaching to email. I have a superfast internet connection.
