disapeering bbm

Ok so I updated my bbm and it was going smoothly untill it rebooted, as soon as it got onto the lock screen there was a pop-up that said "missing files" so I went to my bbm and the same popup came up. So I could never even get into the app. Besides that though the app wasn't even called bbm anymore, it turned into a bunch of letters and numbers..
So I spent some time online and talking to people about the problem and they assured me that I needed to delete the app and reinstall it.
So I did exacly that, but now the app is completly gone. I searched for the app, and unhid all apps. I don't know what happened! Any help?

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.


Please remove BlackBerry Messenger from Options> Device> Application Management> Highlight BBM> Press the Menu key and Delete> Reboot> then re-install from the Browser at www.BlackBerry.com/bbm.
