e-mail configuration

I cannot configure my email on my blackberry curve 8520. Even though I'm connected to internet on wifi, when I go to the e-mail configuration area, it tells me that, "even though the mobile web is activated, I'm noy in a wireless zone". I don`t understand, because i can do everything else: enter the app store, browse the web, etc. What shoul I do? Thanks

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider? You must, in order to get the RIM push email setup and functions you are looking for.

So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

So, If I don´t have that, I will never get my e-mail acount to work on my blackberry?

Isn`t there any other possible way?

Correct. You must.

 

There is no other possible way, since I've told that by having the BlackBerry Data Plan is the only way.

I get it. 

Just one last question: when I talk on the phone, the volume of the other persons voice is very low. I have tried to increase the volume in every possible way, after reading all the instructions, but the volume is still very low. It's strange, because in every other function (music, ringtones, etc) the volume seems to work just fine. What do you recommend?

you're pressing the up volume button on the side of the BlackBerry? The volume for all callers is low?

Yes, I think I've already tried those two methods. Is there anything else that can be done?

Where do you regulate the volume for all callers? I'm not exactly sure I have regulated that, because my blackberry menu is in italian. I have already changed the one in "telefone options" called "advanced audio". Is that it? or is there anything else?

I don't understand what * the means.

I've tried regulating eerything that has to do with audio, and the volume doesn´t change. Should I maybe send it to the guy that sold it to me to get it fixed?
