e-mail set-up help---- BB 8220

I purchased a new unlocked 8220 gsm phone and after installing my AT&T SIM card the phone works fine, however my trouble is the email setup wizard only has the option of a work email account with BB enterprise server, no other option.

I took the phone to my AT&T store and the rep has no clue. I am not computor savy and have little experience in trying to sort this out. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

You need to confirm with ATT that you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account. When you get that provisioned to your account, you will get the icon on the BlackBerry that is titled... "personal email setup".

1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.

2. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot

if still nothing...
3. resend your service books from your carrier BIS site.
