earphones not being recognized on 8970

Hai pipo how you doin,my earphones juts stopped playing when I play music it does not play through earphones but instead plays through The speaker what could be the problem here?

Hello!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

 

You may have to try this with your earphones removed from the BB jack, and then put them back in after the reboot has fully completed.

Thanks for the advice I didn't kno BB8970 would be so hard to operate at times I think I need the bold 9900.thanks again

Every technology device is designed, built, and operated by humans...so a human-level of perfection would be the highest attainable, I'd think. And, with humans, perfection is never attainable.

I can't recommend any to you. Each human has a different set of needs, desires, and tolerance levels. For me, all I want is touch screen...no physical keyboard. Others feel totally different about that point. Some want a larger physical device, others want one smaller.

What you need to do is determine your set of needs, desires, and tolerances. Then, compare the various products available to you in your market to decide what best matches your unique set of those needs, desires, and tolerances.
