email address capture

Bold 9900 with Enterprise

My BB has somehow captured an email address for one of my contacts. The address is valid, but is not one I entered for that contact. I have 2 email account setup with my BB (one using Enterprise & one personal), but only one contact list (Enterprise). When I compose and email to this contact and I select his name from the drop down list the captured address is used rather than the address I have entered for this contact.

I have deleted the contact from my address book and composed a test email and his name and the captured email address remain in the system somewhere. How do I get rid of this?

Hi,

 

Please go to contacts and search for the captured email, whether you are able to find that or not. If you are able to fidn that, delete it.

 

Create contact again in your contact list, with the desired email address and check which one shows while composing e-mail.
