email adresses

I have 2 email addresses that I need to get rid of. When I go to the setup menu it shows I only have 2 email addresses however when I compose an email it shows 2 current email addresses and 2 email addresses that have been delete previously. Any idea how I can get rid of these now non existant eamil addresses?

Much appreciated!!!

Re: email adresses

  • Look at your main Options > Device > Advanced > Service Books.
  • Scroll through and you should find TWO entries for each email account.
  • One will be CMIME and one will be CICAL.
  • Delete both entries for both of the email accounts you don't want.
  • Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

When your back up, look back at Options > Device > Advanced > Default Services and make sure your intended default email account is selected for both the messaging and calendar.
