email message alert but do not have email set up on phone

Hi - I just switched service providers and when my number was transferred over I had 2 email message alerts on my blackberry pearl handset. I have never set up email connection from my phone and do not have internet service with my new provider as I only want phone calls and texts.

 

Any idea how to get rid of the email message alerts?

Thank you so much for your suggestion - I found the mysterious messages and deleted them. Problem solved.
