email not working

I have social media and web access but no emails are coming in and no RSS feeds. UK, Vodafone. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community

 

If you are having problem regarding email services please try this in a sequence :

 

1- Register your Handheld .

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.
  • ( Please note don't recieve this registration message skip rest of the steps,and you may need to call your Carrier regarding this issue )

2- Resend your Service Book

  • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back.

 

I hope it will resolve your problem.

Followed the first step and got a confirmation message. Tried to send service books from Blackberry but it cannot connect. Have sent them from the web page of the BIS. But phone still would not connect.

 

Removed battery again and rebooted. Resent service books from web. Still nothing.

 

Went into set up and internet mail account and it still cannot connect.

 

Guess I need to call Vodafone?

It's a bigger problem, I've got about 500 users having an issue. The problem is with RIM, confirmed by Vodafone.

Yep, I just called Vodafone and got the message. Nothing like wasting an hour trying to fix someone else's problem.
