error id: 11000 - when trying to buy Shazam

Hi there,

As I'm very content with Shazam I actually intend to buy it, but the BB app store will not let me. At first I tried to contact the Shazam support but they redirected me to you. Hopefully you can help me. Whenever I press purchase and get through the whole paypal accept process, at the end, just when it states finalising payment I get an error pop-up with error id: 11000. Stating that something is wrong with my creditcard authorization although I just pay wanna pay using paypal. I checked and rechecked all account details; paypal and BB app.

Could you please help me!

Have you actually logged into your AppWorld > My World before doing this?

Yea ofcourse... I actually already bought another app as well but woth Shazam the error keeps on returning. Btw its a BB 9700 Bold with the latest firmware.

Have you tried a simple reboot on the device, then try the purchase again?

 

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

So, it it's working with other apps, and not with Shazam only, they you should call your carrier and seek technical support on it.

 

If you wait a day, perhaps Shazam will be working again.

How could the carrier be interfering with my purchase, that doesn't make any sense, I'm sure they will also blame BB...

Btw I"ve been trying to buy Shazam for about two weeks without any luck... Any other suggestions? BB support?

I get the same error when trying to put my card details... It tells me that my card could not be verified... Which is impossible as I use the cad for every transaction... Have been using the same card for over 4 years now...

 

Still I checked with my card company and they confirmed that there is no issue with the card... Been trying to get this sorted since the appstore launched but no luck...

 

Can u guys help? What could be the problem?

Hi

 

I had the same problem and what it was was that I had to redo my payment method. How I fixed it was I went into the app world then went to my world the pressed the menu button then went down to payment option. There you can re enter your payment method and your information.

Just tried to buy another app but apparently that doesn't work either. Could it have been the app store update?
