I have a BB 9900 bold smartphone. When I try and download music from websies, the download opens and does not complete. The download screen just shows "error" and it stops. What can be wrong?

Open your Browser > Press the Menu Key > Options > Scroll down to Clear Browsing Data ( Mark all fields ) then Click On Clear Now . finally perform a battery pull by removing the battery while your device is Powered On wait for a min. then re-insert it back. After rebbot try it again to see if error appears.
Success with downloading files on your device also depends on how strong is your Carrier network or the downloading speed available.
