facebook app not working

i have the curve 8300 and am having trouble with the facebook app, i cant get it to work i geet an error saying there was a problem communicating with facebook. I have unistalled the app already and then i reinstalled and got the same thing. it was working the otha day i dont get it can some one help me with this?

Users receiving the "No Stream Posts Available" or "No News Feed Available" is happening across the board and there is no fix on the user or device end at this point.

It is likely related to Facebook' recent changes to how news and status updates are posted. Some other applications which pull the streamposts (like SocialScope and Tweetdeck are not experiencing the issue.

My guess it will be fixed soon.

I think its because of the Facebook updates that they're doing...because im getting the same thing.  However....since ive had my blackberry...I have never been able to upload a picture to facebook from my phone.  Ive had my phone for about a month now.  Not sure why this is happening.
