facebook

I have a bb torch and every time I try to log onto facebook, it tells me I don't have a data plan or wifi. I don't have a data plan, but I am connected to a home wifi. I tried the battery pull and still nothing! I really wanna use this app, so anyone have any suggestions?

Re: facebook

You must have the BlackBerry data plan to use the FaceBook for BlackBerry application.

Alternatively, you can use the m.facebook.com URL from your WiFi browser.

Re: facebook

I was seriously hoping that that was not the case.  If I indeed need a data plan, then why does it tell me to update my data plan OR conncet to a wifi? Why would it tease me with such an option?!

Re: facebook

Are you connected to WiFi at the time?

Like I said, you can use the m.facebook.com URL over WiFi.
