failure to send email smtp error 553

Dear all,

 

I have recently setup for my company's email to be accessible from my BB device.

It worked in the beginning but for the past 2 days, I've been having trouble sending email to my company's email system.

 

It seems like BB servers are denying it with the following error:

Reporting-MTA: dns; smtp01.bis.ap.blackberry.com

Final-Recipient: rfc822;yyyyyyy@local.zzzzz.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure)
Remote-MTA: dns; [x.x.x.x]
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 553-'sorry, your envelope sender has been denied (#5.7.1)' (delivery attempts: 0)

 

x,y,z's real values are concealed for security purposes.

 

 

So, my question is has anyone run into the same problem and how to solve it?

it means the IT of your company forbids people to send an email with a from address that is the email address of the company and that comes from outside.
-> you cannot send email from your device unless you use the SMTP server from your company. Contact your IT to get the information to do that.
