forgotten email password

Hi,

 

Though I'm french, i'm loooking for help here.

Ma blackberry 9300 had a problem. After being repaired, this phone has been initalised.

So I need to configure my email adress.

It's an adress @free.blackberry.com

My problem is that i forgot my password..... And nowhere I found how to get it.

 

Could somebody help me?

 

Nowhere I found a link "password forgotten"...

Hello,

Typically, those "hosted" email accounts are managed by your mobile service provider ("Free mobile", according to your profile here). So, ring them up and ask them if they can reset it for you.

I thank you for your answer but i have already ring them up.

 

And they told me .... they could do nothing because emails are managed by blackberry on the bis....

 

They answered me I should call blackberry....

Then they have fobbed you off. Contractually, end users have no ability to seek any support directly from BlackBerry. Rather, the mobile service providers are responsible for escalating cases up to BlackBerry that require more help than they can give. But the end user cannot bypass their carrier in that process. Whoever you spoke to at Free Mobile was (I will be gentle) not properly trained. So I suggest you try again, but this time be insistent that they live up to their contractual requirements of providing you with support.

If they continue to tell you to "call blackberry", then insist that they provide you with an exact method of doing so...I suspect they will be unable to (since such a request channel does not exist, at least not for free).
