haveing touch screen probelms in my bold 9790

After doing ALT LGLG and clearing log... m left with E system & S system

on clicking E system I get message like :

Name : System

Severity : Error

Guid : 97c9f5f641d25e5f

Time : latest

JVM:INFOp=29355542,a='7.0.0.557',o='9.16.0.67',h=26001507

 

on clicking S system I get message like :

Name : System

Severity : Severe Error

Guid : 97c9f5f641d25e5f

Time : latest

NOTE : Mine is a bold 9790, and have touch screen problem from starting. Automatically it(touch screen) gets stop.

working. and have to get battery out and put it in and after that only it gets start but after few mins its gets off again. Plz suggest what should be done.

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.

 

If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

 

If the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you will need to consider more drastic remedy attempts (e.g., WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK WIPE/Reload, "bare bones" OS loading process, etc.)
