hello all, i wonder if anyone can help me,my curve 9300 is driving me nuts.with error 80002,can i reset the pohne to factory setting

With merely the error code, I find nothing in the public KBs...with the full and exact error message, we might be able to do better understanding your situation and searching for an answer for you. Or, you can search as well:


As for your request to reset to factory settings, that indeed can be done:

  • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings using BlackBerry Desktop Software

However, given how little we know about your present situation, it might be premature to actually do that...but it is your choice to make.

thanks, i cant get blackberry world, or facebook it wont send picture messages it says i need to update id when i click connect it says try again than i get that error message

Is, "i need to update id" the exact and complete error message? I suspect not, and I really need that to be sure how to guide you. Please help me to help you...
