Help please - My Bold 9900 had black screen with flashing red light. I tried a software update. I took out the battery, I put it back in to install the software as the instructions said but when it gets to reconnecting to JVM I get a pop up box that says - Application loader unable to reconnect with your device please reconnect your device, and click retry. However it wont get past this popup. What do I do next!!

Sorry to hear you're unable to reinstall your software.
When do you reinsert the battery - when you start the software install or when you are in the middle of the install?
Are you using a laptop or desktop computer? Have you tried more than one USB port after the first error?
