The key pad or side buttons do not work on my 8130 anymore. the track ball moves the cursor but that's it.

Try resetting the phone by pulling out the battery while the phone is on. Leave it out for 30 seconds, put it back in and allow the phone 1-3 minutes to reboot. Let me know if this changes anything.
