hey I'm Susan

I have a problem when I unplugg my usb it sais mass storage mode is being activated .Enter your device password to grant acces...so someone can tell me what is the password cause I dont know where to find it ,Im so lost .I bought it from second hand so I dont have any information about it Smiley Sad ..I'm so angry I've searched everywhere and I don't know what to do ,please someone can help me .its a bb bold 9700..

Look at Options > Security > Password.

Is the password enabled there?

If so, is there a small red padlock icon beside it?

Well, haha, it might not have helped you, but it helped me to understand what is locked.

 

You need to DISABLE the password. If you don't know the password, and the previous owner can't tell you the password, then you just need to enter an incorrect password ten times and the BlackBerry will wipe itself of all the former owners' personal information, messages, emails, contacts, calendar and preferences.

 

Your device will work as if new and you can start all over again.
