hey, i tried to download an app from the blackberry app ...

hey, i tried to download an app from the blackberry app world and the application failed to download, but the app still shows in the "my world" view. i have tried everything from battery pulls to searching all the files to delete it but i cant seem to find it any ware ... since the app is showing as trying to download it drains my battery much faster than usual also i cant download the app again. i was given the advice of pressing alt-R-S-T in the featured view but since i am using a blackberry storm there is no option to bring up the key board. any help to resolve this problem would be much appreciated.

Re: hey, i tried to download an app from the blackberry app ...

Hello,

another user has found a solution to this problem and posted it in these forums. The main idea is to clear the AppWorld cache :
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3 Clear the cache :
- For Storm & Pearl devices : show the keyboard, hold the num-lock ("!?123") button so it locks and then hit the three characters : 3 4 (
- For other devices: hold down the ALT key and press the three keys R S T
4. If your devie is locked after that, perform a battery pull reboot.
Please tell us if this solves your issue.
