Re: home screen symbols

Hi! I have a little white triangle on the top of the screen, in front of my network name, but I am NOT in roaming. Can this mean something else than roaming? Or does it mean that by some weird way i am in roaming, although i'm home in my country?

Yep, means you're in roaming mode for some reason.

What country are you in, the US?

Re: home screen symbols

i'm currently in switzerland, but just next to the french border, and yes sometimes phones switch to the french networks since it's so close, but usually when i'm on a french network it tells the name of the french network i'm roaming on when roaming, and now it tells the name of the right swiss network i am supposed to be on so its' strange. i don't wanna be paying roaming prices when using my phone locally.

Re: home screen symbols

You can be on the correct network, but still roaming if you are "roaming" though another provider's tower.

Re: home screen symbols

Yes, it's certainly this, because i'm on a network that works through another provider, kind of like Virgin Mobile uses Sprint in America, for example. I used to be on Virgin mobile and did not show me as roaming though, but I guess it depends on the network, sometimes it shows and sometimes not.

Thank you all for your answers!
