I keep getting the following message:
"The network you are connected to appears to be a hotspot. You may be required to consent to legal terms and/or set up an account to get internet access. Hotspot operators may charge service fees for internet access"
However, its a free network that my other devices, such as my playbook connect to without problems.
When I click "OK" I get another message that says:
"This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again."
I click OK, and it takes my to the BB browser, which of course doesn't work.
Its like it wants me to give permission to use the network, but I need to use the network to give the approval. Chicken and egg problem!
-WiFi is enabled
-Bluetooth is enabled
-Other devices including Playbook currently work on the network
-Repeatedly gives me the first message above, followed by the second message above
Any help anyone can offer?
Thanks in advance.

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.
What OS are you on? On your device, type in a new message MYVER and a space after to see and report back please.
