It seems that as of May 2011 this approach no longer works for MAIL.COM emails. I can no loner access my email.com account on my BlackBerry through the normal setup and the MAIL.com website only shows instructions for iphones or windows phones. Has anyone else run into the same issue?
MAIL.com has changed their service in May and if I try to browse to their site using my browser then I can only see half of the page without the ability to scroll. I emailed their help desk which hasn't responded.
They also deleted most of my emails from my INBOX when moved to their service.
