how do i get Google Search on Blackberry to stop defaulting its search field to the word 'google'?

how do i get Google Search on my Blackberry to stop defaulting its search field to the word 'google? for each search, i first have to clear the field before i enter my search term(s), which is annoying.

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.


I would suggest to try clearing the browser cache.


1. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Browser.
2. Press the Menu key, and click Options.
3. Scroll to the very bottom of the options list where there will be a section called Clear Browsing Data.
4. Select the desired options and choose Clear Now.
