If your only option is to reset the firewall, do that.

Normally, at Options > Advanced > Security, you would find the opton to disable the firewall.

as i go into options  - firewall it says enable but it has a lock on it how do i unlock to disable the firewall because its just not letting me download anything from app world because of the fire wall???

hey sami, thanks, ur post seems so realistic....but every time i type in the instructions on "3" it keeps telling me " the system cannot find the specified path" what does that mean?

To enable or disable the BlackBerry firewall, click on the BlackBerry button, the select Options -> Security Options -> Firewall. Inside the “Firewall” menu, you will find a drop down menu to either enable or to disable the Firewall. Once you make the selection, all you have to do is press the esc button and save the settings.

JUST GO TO HELP IN DESKTOP MANAGER AND CLICK ON SUPPORT TOOLS AND GOTO RESET AND CLICK ON RESET YOUR PHONE WILL BE FACTORY RESET,

 

NOTE THIS IS NOT NORMAL WIPE.
