how to automatically sync without having desktop manager running all the time ?

Hi there !

Just started getting to know my new blackberry Smiley Happy

I'm very pleased with the sync function, however it is only working when desktop manager is running.

I'd like to have it sync itsself when i plug it in without having to leave desktop manager running all the time... I really don't see the purpose of the device manager since it does not seem to do anything without desktop manager running.

Searched the forums but only found things like "put desktop manager into autostart". Maybe there is another way ?

Thanks in advance !

Regards

You don't need Desktop Manager at all. Setup your email account via the Setup Wizard on your BlackBerry or from the BIS website maintained by your service provider.

Thanks.

I'm just using sync for my calendar. Not for email.
