"When we launched CrackBerry.com 10 years ago, we set out to make it a fun and useful destination where BlackBerry Smartphone owners could share their excitement and learn to unleash the full potential of their BlackBerry. A decade later, the CrackBerry community is as active and passionate as ever and I know our knowledgeable members and volunteers will be excited to welcome and assist more BlackBerry owners with their questions."

Sorry, this is not solved, I think you may have misunderstood my problem
I am speaking to someone on the phone, and they tell me a phone number, on pretty much every other mobile phone, you can type this number into the phone, mid call, and save / ring that entered number after the original call finishes.
When I enter the number, mid call on the BB8900, the number is displayed on screen, however when the original call ends, the entered number disappears.
The number entered mid call does not appear in the call log.
