i just bought the 9800
before i had it i had the 9000
i did a backup on the blackberry desktop of the device and when i got the 9800 i did restor
after i did restor the touch screen most of the time not working and if its working when i touch it its opening things i didnt press on
what can i do?
plz help me i just bought it ...

I suggest backing up your device, then preforming a wipe.
To do this just type: Security Wipe on your Torch. Then follow the prompts.
Once the wipe is done, allow the device to come back up and then test. If the touch screen is responsive again, do another restore. If the touch screen stops responding again its going to be something with the data you are transfering to the device.
I would suggest then at that point try a selective restore, to do this see the link below:
The items I suggest restoring would be: Address Book, Calendar, Memos, Tasks, Messages, SMS, Content Store. If there are any others you really need select them too.

you need to use device switch wizard and not restore.
I would also add in one ap at a time to see if they are compatable as well.
Might have to wipe the device and start over again.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
