icons

i can't delete 2 icons (one is XM, the other is yellowpages.com) I've deleted the programs, but can't get rid of the icons. Any ideas?????

HI and Welcome to the Forums!

 

Those icons are probably links pushed by your carrier as installation requests. Deleting the app removed the app icon, but these icons remain as something youru carrier pushes to you as a temptation to install the app. You can't delete them...the carrier is in control. You can, however, move them to a sub folder (I keep one called "Unused Icons" for things just like these) or hide them.
