initialization failed

I need help.....

i upgrade software 7.1 Bundle 1997 (v7.1.0.694, Platform 5.1.0.507) from my pc, my phone is torch 9810 from AT&T but now it says initialization failed and i also cant connect to my wi-fi. i try to takes the sim card out of my 9810 and puts to the other blackberry. It works. but when i take the sim card from the other blackberry and puts it in my 9810. It doesn't work. Please Help me....!!!

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Thanks for the question.

 

This issue can be resolved by unlocking the BlackBerry smartphone, contact your network service provider to unlock it.  Once this is done, the SIM card will be working.
