invalid command line Parameters

I have just installed the newest version of BDM(4.7) and when I back up my stuff(address book etc.) it goes into a document file. When I try to open it, I get an error message that says "invalid command line parameters

Usage desktop manager record> destination directory for recorded settings>"

I have no idea what that means. Can anyone tell me how to fix this. I am running Vista.  I had this problem before and I uninstalled it and upgraded to 4.7. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: invalid command line Parameters

Perhaps there are a lot of nested folders to access your *.ipd file. And due to this fact the command line is too long to be processed.

Try to do the following.

Copy your *.ipd file to the "first level" folder, say: C:\BBBackups\

And the full path to your ipd file will be  C:\BBBackups\myfile.ipd

Try to open this file from BB Desktop Manager now.

It should work.
