lost photos

I have lost a series of photos on my blackberry bold 9700.  I did not delete them but somehow they just vanished.  I believe it happened after a "resetting" (for another issue) when someone at ATT did not know what they were doing becasue my screen saver vanished as well. I was very upset because the majority of ATT support personel do not understand the intricacies of the blackberry. Only one set iof photos remain which were actually older ones. Any ideas how to retrieve them?  I do hot have a media card, could this contribute to the problem?  thanks so much, Docrac

Re: lost photos

If ATT wiped the device and/or reloaded the OS, then the built-in memory of the device is also wiped, in which your pictures were likely located.

You need to get a media card to which stored photos will not be wiped.

Re: lost photos

Thank you for your quick reply. I don't know if they reloaded the OS but that certainly could explain it. I guess what doesn't make sense is that some of the pictures are still there, shouldn't they all have disappeared? Also I did retain everything else, all saved files, and a few video pictures, etc so why would this affect only some of the system? Docrac
