media card

Hi, I purchased a Curve for my daughter today. She just spent an hour trying to transfer music. She inserted the media card, and then started the transfer on media manager. It transferred one song and that was it. She tried again and got a message that says there's no room on the card (brand new card). After 3 more tries, the same thing happens. Supposedly the card holds approx. 400 songs. It seems to be inserted correctly, and when taking a pic she got a message that said "media card detected."

Is there something that we failed to do, or some setting that needs to be changed in order for this to work properly?

Re: media card

Check the media cards functionality by inserting it in some other phone.

If that don't work then insert the card in Blackberry and format it from your device. Let know what happens to your card.

Re: media card

We formatted the card, which didn't help. It is working now, I don't really know what the deal was... my husband said it seemed like it wasn't recognizing the card. He reinstalled Desktop manager, and it works fine now. Who knows...probably clicked something wrong the first time...but it works now!! She loves the Curve...this is the only "problem" we've had.
