my 9900 contacts

Hi just registered for this brilliant forum but immediatley have a question!

My BB protect is telling me that my 'contacts is already wirelessly syncronised with a remote service'

How do I find out where/who, or how to return to BB protect for contacts backup?

I do not remember ever changing the defaults on the backup to another service

I have uninstalled and re-installed BB protect  but to no avail

Thanks in advance if anyone knows

Re: my 9900 contacts

Options > Device > Advanced > Service Books.

Do you see any entry in the list of [DESKTOP] ?

What does it say?

Re: my 9900 contacts

Are you on a corporate BES account?

Do you sync your contacts with Google contacts, yahoo, etc., through an email account?

Re: my 9900 contacts

Check the Service Books again for any entry

  • Desktop [SYNC]
  • BlackBerry [SYNC]

And again, let's be sure you're not using Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, Outlook.com... ????
